ERS210 Head Maintenance

Taking apart Aibo’s head for painting.

Tools you need: 
Philips PH0, Scalpel, Flat bladed pliers

Step 1
Remove the ears.

Remove the Visor, use your fingernails

Remove the head sensor, unclip carefully the button from sides.

Here you see the clips for the button. Take care of the spring !

Step 4
Remove the cover screws

Hinge back and unplug the microphones and unscrew.

Unscrew the right ear rotator

Unscrew the neck holder

Step 8
Unplug the wire loom with the flat faced pliers. Be careful, the cables are very tiny.

Step 9
Pull out the loom carefully through the collar while spreading the gap to enable the Ferrite to pass through.

Step 10
Remove the cover screws

Lift the cover off.

Remove the pause button. Take care of the spring !
